Happy Birthday to Tiffanie Ng

How was your Mid-Autumn / Lantern / Mooncake Festival few days ago? Where did you celebrate it? My last year Mid-Autumn Festival was fun. But this year, it was great too. Never in my mind that I thought I would be celebrating my Mid-Autumn with so many kids.

Special thanks to Sam & Kenny for the invitation to Krista Centurion Kindergarten & Childcare at Jalan Stutong.

For you information, Krista is the largest Kindergarten & Childcare Chain in Malaysia and it has been around for more than 10 years. The good news is that Krista is now in Kuching !! Krista is unique compared to other kindies as their teachers are compulsory to take exams from time to time, which also means, the kids will be taught by Certified Teachers.

The event then started with welcoming speech by John, the marketing personnel of Krista Centurion, followed by Vicky, the Principle of Krista Centurion.

Thanksgiving gifts were then presented to the Co-sponsors of the event, namely, |Business Card Centre | Diamond Energy Drink | Multiplex Reality Sdn Bhd | Penrissen Ingredients Center | Pureen | Raiya Ubat Gigi Fluorida Windward Outdoor Media Sdn Bhd | Sung Hoe Trading Sdn Bhd |

John & Vicky later invited the parents, sponsors, media and of course us, for Potluck dinner.

Foods were prepared by the parents and also the kindy. John was afraid the food won’t be enough for everyone of us, so he ordered extra.

There were door gifts for everyone. I should’ve grabbed more

After everyone filled up the hungry stomachs, the next event was family lantern walk from the kindy playground to the garden outside the kindy and back to the kindy

John gave speech told the kids not to overtake other kids but to walk together with their parents

The Treasure Hunt event started right after the lantern walk. Kids were to grab as many sweets as they can but they’re advised to eat only one or two per day

While the demostration was going on, I explored other parts of the Kindy

John told us that they do not only provided computers for the kids, but these computers are connected to the internet !!! Kids nowadays are so lucky..
