Let’s Do Charity

After reading PinkPau’s How To Save A Turtle entry, I’ve decided to follow her four out of five steps on how an individual can save turtles.

Let’s see the steps written by her in her blog:-

1. Don’t Eat Turtle Eggs / Meat
Photobucket
I don’t like the smell of turtle eggs. I don’t dare to eat the meat either. So, I’m sure I can do this step. :)

2. Don’t Litter
I seldom go to the beach and I never go out to sea. Even if I do, I will make sure I won’t throw plastic bag to the beach and into the sea. :)

3. Raise Awareness
I think I’m doing it now :)

4. Volunteer

PinkPau: ..volunteering your time and energy to this cause is a huge step..

If to go volunteering physically, I mean to involve in the cleaning work like PinkPau, I don’t think I’m going to join as they don’t have any in Kuching. Therefore, this is the step that I won’t be able to contribute :(

5. Donate to the WWF
Before I decide to write this entry, after I read PinkPau’s entry, I’ve done this :P

First, I took out my lovely Nokia 7390 and type the following.

Type WWF(space)My Full Name(space)My email address and send to 39398

In less than 30 seconds, I received this.
Photobucket
I didn’t open this cos I don’t know if I’ll be charged.

I got another message 2 seconds after the above.

This is what I got after sending the message :)

I’ll be charged RM3 as stated and also normal charges by DiGi. I hope you’ll do the same too. RM3 for lives of turtles is not too much, right? One movie ticket already cost you RM8. One set of pirated DVD in Kenyalang at least cost you RM6. So, just contribute RM3 to them, will you? Let’s do a little charity instead of just earning from our advertisers. Who knows your little charity will help you to increase your blog traffic ler? You’ll never know right?

Not only that, besides doing charity, you also can share your kindness by blogging about it, right? See.. One stone kills two birds. Great, isn’t it? :)

Happy Charity :)
