Ayam Penyet at Dorset Cafe

It was posted in Kuching Food Critics (KFC) that there is this delicious Ayam Penyet at Dorset Cafe. AhCute decided to give it a try so he asked Burn and Nick to go along too.

Dorset sounds very familiar hor? It’s actually located in Dorset Boutique Hotel at Jalan Sekama, Kuching.
.

The foursome date was at 12noon last Saturday #817

AhCute ordered Pandan Coconut @ RM3.50 only. Hohoho.. Even cheaper than drinking at Kampung Buntal? Yes? No?

I ordered Teh Tarik. Look at the bubbles. Very nice hor

Eh Wait.. how did they make so much bubbles by just pulling the tea? What did they do to make my teh tarik with so much bubbles?? I don’t want to think bout it.. I don’t want to think. Dang !!

I don’t normally eat white rice, not because I’m afraid of FAT.. but because.. I.. always.. eat… FRIED RICE !! I just can’t help it when I see fried rice.. and hence, I ordered Fried Rice Special Dorset @ RM10 .. I can never do Paleo Diet like how my gymmates are doing it.

Burn ordered Nasi Lemak because Nick prefers it.. Hahaha..

and lastly, the guys ordered Nasi Ayam Penyet that is said to be VERY NICE !! No.. they didn’t share a plate. They ordered a plate each for themselves, Like A Boss.

Overall, I like their environment and also their friendly service crew. As for their food, there are still rooms for improvements. As for KFC, just take their suggestions for reference and only trust your own tastebud.

Looks typically like the stuff one can expect at hotel cafes and restaurants – usually nice enough, nothing all that great…and a bit more expensive.
