I must thank Joo for adding me into the siaochabos chatroom in whatsapp.

They actually planned this quite early.. like few days before Saturday.. and they wanted to do Karaoke session.. but K is just not my thing. I don’t sing.. cos I don’t know how to sing.. cos my voice is just not nice..

But last minute.. on the day itself.. Joo suddenly fall sick and she said she won’t be able to make it… and I went OMG !! then how bout me? I haven’t been mixing with these girls for so long.. can I click with them? Aiyaaa.. it’s just me laa.. I’ve been antisocial for too long. You see my blog you know already ma..

Glad that I changed my mind.. and I’ve decided to join the girls.. and these girls.. ok.. these ladies are really fun to be with people.. I think we should do this again..

Jess and Kelly loves singing so much they didn’t wanna let go the mic.. LOL !! Donna and I basically.. just sat there, take pictures.. and laughed at people.. LOL !! I miss them lor.. I promised.. next time K session.. I’ll do my homework first lor.. like Jenn who brought photocopy of pinyin lyrics to sing chinese songs..

I always thought that I know Kuching so much that I can bring anyone to go eat famous food in Kuching.. but when friends from KL visited Kuching, I started to get nervous cos I couldn’t think of places to bring them to.

So.. it’s all about food.. foood.. and fooood !! O.o

Day1: 21/01/11
JJ and Kelson visited Kuching early this year.. 21st to 23rd of January.. few days before CNY.. Once they touched down Kuching, tour guides ahDys and ahYien brought them to go makan, makan, makan and makan.. I couldn’t meet up with them cos I got things to do till.. dinner.. we went to Taman Riverview for famous Bintawa Kueh Chap. JJ feeling bloated after big bowl of Kueh Chap

Next, we went to Kenyalang Hawker Food Center. Ordered Mix Char Kueh for them to eat. Mix as in Sweet and Salty Char Kueh on a plate with one price

Next, we went for movie.. but before that.. JJ need to report back to KL

I can’t recall what movie we watched at MBO, the Spring but we watched the movie in big group (as at that time)

What else to do after movie?

Yes.. We eat again O.o This time brought them to Famous Open Air Market for famous gu bak mee aka beef noodles.

How can not eat Kolo Mee when you’re in Kuching? But then this is not the best kolo mee. Price slightly more expensive than the normal price.. and portion slightly too little for small eater like me

and ah haaa.. must remember to eat the siobee aka siu mai .. and also the famous tauhujui aka soya bean *I’m craving for the cold soya bean now.. huhuhu*

Day2 – 22/01/11

We brought them to Chong Choon Cafe at Abell Road for famous Sarawak Laksa. It is different from Bangsar’s Sarawak Laksa <3

Err.. I don’t remember what else we did that afternoon but definitely fed the guys till they cannot move

In the evening of Day2 of their trip in Kuching, we brought them to Kampung Buntal for seafood.

We ordered a plate of … chu chuk.. I’ve no idea what is it called.. but it’s a type of shellfish that you can find in almost all the seafood restaurant. I don’t really like eating this cos it takes time and effort to suck out the meat from its shell O.o

But I ate the most that evening.. making me the winner of this shellfish

Oh.. i think the guys managed to eat Midin, a type of wild fern that they cannot find in KL

Day3: 23/01/11

All of us went back quite early in the morning of Day3. So, I’ve decided to let the guys sleep a bit more before I pick them up for breakfast.. This time, we went to Sin Chong Choon

So after done with brunch.. I left the guys with ahDys.. cos I’ve got another mission to do..

Anyways.. thanks for the great weekend. I had fun, though it was just a few days.

The long awaited annual reunion is finally here. As expected, this time we have less people. Thanks to Tim we have this little gathering. Yes. He put a lot of effort to ensure that we are still keeping in touch. I was just there to assist him to create this facebook event thingy which didn’t get much response.

We have set to meet up on the 4th day of CNY every year. But this time around, there were more gathering around. High school gathering, company dinner, etc etc. and Ash Wednesday falls on the 4th day of CNY as well.

The early birds were Aazina, Roy, Amalina and hubby. We are sorry that we didn’t make it on time as promised. Aazie, I heard about your posting.. Ehron told us you’re leaving in two weeks time.. Huhuhu.. Maybe we could meet up this time.
