Frankly speaking hor.. I don’t know why is it famous.. My bowl of beehoon is just a normal beehoon soup. Meatball also just meatball. No special taste pun.

We gotta ordered another bowl of meatball soup cos Ryan was still nowhere to be seen and there were many people waiting for our table O.o So Ryan.. *ahem* what should we do hor?

It was Soph and Rach’s birthday and both of them are in KL. So, I was thinking I might be able to celebrate with them.

Air tickets was purchased. This is the tag everyone’s talking about. Yes, they will give you a tag for your hand carry luggage and this was mine at Kuching International Airport.

There are people asking me why FrogBee’s legs are dirty and I didn’t clean it. LOL. I purposely don’t wanna clean it cos I think FrogBee looks cute with the dirt

and one thing FrogBee and I are in common. We don’t look good camwhoring O.o Oh.. Actually, I’ve been wondering and is still wondering. Why people are so impatient queueing to get into the plane or when got out of the plane when the plane is still moving? I still don’t understand

Upon arrival at LCCT, I was picked up by Kelson as we had some surprise plan for the birthday girl, Rachel. I heard about the “after party”, water balloons and things like that and got so excited about it but in the end, birthday girl told me the surprise mission failed. T_T No.. not my fault.. *finger pointing at Shirley and JJ* LOL.

Since I arrived LCCT at 4.30pm, we went straight to Sepang F1 Circuit. For those who have no idea where ENR 2011 was held, it was at the F1 Circuit. Yes, we were running on the track where you guys need to pay to see F1 racing cars.

Kelson bought 2 boxes of Teochew Style Chicken Rice at some famous Chicken Rice stall at Taman Cheras. We sat by the roadside to eat the rice before entering Sepang Circuit to snap pics The lunchbox was nice Talk bout the lunchbox, I think I forgot to pay him the $$ O.o

It was said, reporting time at 5pm. I didn’t see any counter upon entering. O.o

I thought we were early.. But there are people earlier than us O.o

Wow #1: so this is Sepang F1 Circuit !!

Wow #2: People say F1 cars very fast. Really meh?

Wow #3: People said normally you won’t get the chance to go snap pictures around this place. Really meh?

Celebrity runner, Pui San was there with them for the warming up too. Cannot see her face here, nvm.. I recognised her by her unique running skirt.

I seldom got the chance to take pic at the Start / Finish Point cos I just cannot afford to bring heavy things with me when I’m running. My body is heavy enough for my legs. I just don’t wanna add more weight to the legs (until I get a proper waist bag for my DHD)

I was excited when I see this. I thought they’re going to light them on when they officiate the 42km.. but no.. I don’t remember seeing this when the full marathoners were on the track. Hmph.

Energizer Night Race KL 2011: We want justice
Apparently Expose Media Sdn Bhd is not even registered with SSM. A check with SSM fail to find any record. errmm what do you guys think? now I think Energizer really have to give an answer as to why they gave this project to an ilegal company?

I was still very excited at this hour. We went back to the car to get ready with the running bib and also the timing chip.

The running event flagged off at 7.45pm. I don’t know if they started on time cos I didn’t bring my watch along with me

21km started 15minutes later, to which I think, they should actually let the full marathoners run 1hour before the half marathoners. Don’t you think so?

11km started another 15mins later after 21km. How can?

I’ve no one to pace with me this time. So, when Kelson started running very fast in front of me. I followed him from behind.. ____/\_/ he was really fast lor.

For half marathon, we need to run outside the track for one loop and 2 loops in the track.

The water stations outside the loop was just nice for me. I was hydrated until when i was in the F1 track T_T I saw a station with lights from far. Thought it was the water station, so I took out my power gel and started to consume it. Little did I know that was ice and sponge station, but with no sponge. T_T

I was kinda dehydrated after passing by the ice & sponge station. Running slowly hoping there will be water station nearby, but I couldn’t find one. There were no leftover water nearby too. I begged for water from one of the runners and I was glad he is ok with me drinking his water. PTL.

I continued running and finally there was this water station one km before the finishing line. There were many 1.5litre of drinking water and carbonated canned drinks and thanks to the red cresent people for applying some cream on my knees.

Along the way after I left water station, I saw many bottles of 1.5litres of drinking water. I guess runners didn’t mean to waste the water because running with one big bottle in hand is seriously not easy. So, I kinda understand why there were so many bottles with 4/5 water in there. I was hoping runners will carry the bottle and throw them off at 3rd km from the start/finish point. LOL. So that I won’t be dehydrated by then

Upon completing of first loop in the track, I was having hard time passing by. There were just way too many people walking and talking and taking their sweet time mingling around the start/finish point. T_T It took me some time to pass the finishing point and continue with my 2nd round. At one point, I felt like giving up running because of the mess. I’m glad I didn’t.

Knowing the location of the ice & sponge station and also water station has its advantages. Instead of thinking of giving up, all I thought was the stations that could keep me hydrated.

What saddens me was that, when I was at the ice and sponge station for the 2nd time.. I see runners drinking the water from the container of ice. I did too. I took few ice with me and continue running till the finishing point.

To my surprise, I knew nothing what to do next. There were no marshalls. I didn’t know where to go to collect the finisher medal and tee and also the goodie bag. I didn’t know where to get the refreshment as stated in the website. I didn’t know where to get water.

Fred then found me (again) when I was lost after the finishing line. I later learnt that the medal and finisher tee will be posted to runners. =..=” This is due to the poor arrangement by the organizer. They only put the goodies in the bag when many people completed their run. When they couldn’t control the crowd, goodies bags were thrown to the runners. =..=”

Many people were unsatisfied with this kind of apology

Runners from KL have to travel all the way there. Hello.. It’s not near okay. They’ve to pay tolls and fuel and even funny illegal parking fees where there were cars being broken into =..=”

Runners from outside KL, from Singapore and Thailand, drove all the way there and some even took flights just for this event. The same goes to runners from Sabah and Sarawak. We don’t pay all these to get refund of registration fee only

I iz sick of this and all I want are things I am supposed to get.

So, yup. I registered for the run and yes.. I crazily registered for 21km !! I knew I’ll be in trouble cos my last marathon run was the 2010 Penang Bridge International Marathon aka the PBIM.. and that was like on 21st November 2010 !!

So, when I came back from Hangzhou, I kinda nervous as the marathon is getting nearer. I had no preparation at all for this half marathon T_T but since I’ve registered, I might as well go for it kan. O.o

I stopped running so many times. I mean.. I walked most of the time. I’m glad I’ve a pacer with me this time. Kelson is the man.. Hahahaha !! Yup.. without him pacing me, I think I won’t be able to complete the run with such timing. I think I annoyed him to the max when I kept on telling him.. I wanna give up running.. you just go ahead with your run. I guess at one point.. he tulan-ed.. and he asked me, “Do you want me to help you call ambulance”

FML. Hahahaha.. I diam diam and run lor

One good thing bout pacing each other.. My timing is much better than I expected.. I have to make sure I keep on running so that my pacer is not too slow (but I failed on this part for this Bareno Run.. and I feel bad bout it cos I got a medal and he didn’t cos I was tooooooo sloooooow) ..

and the bad ones are my pacer’s timing was the worst of all his run cos the person he paced was too slow. Yes. Rose Wong was running like a snail T_T
