Kuching Festival 2010

Every year, in collaboration of Kuching City Day, MBKS will be organising a food and fun fair at MBKS carpark and its hall, around end of July till mid of August.

and without failed, I never miss any of the Kuching Festival Food Fair since high school. :D

and this year.. I’m not that eager to go there. Could be the change of lifestyle.. Nope.. not to more high class or what not.. just that.. there were some changes in life that I need to adapt and therefore, I wasn’t that keen to go, but nevertheless, I still went.. :)

I parked my car opposite CHPS No.3 and walked over to the food fair. :)

RM3 per sausage from Gourmet Sausage, the first stall on your right when you stepped in the main gate :)

JF ordered one original and one spicy for us to try.

This is their menu throughout their business sessions during food fair :(

My recommendation is… don’t put chili sauce. Try this yellowish sauce when you’re eating this plate of sausages :D

My first Gourmet Sausage.. the spicy one but not spicy at all :x

Every year, I’ll setup a stall for Lok Lok, called Rose Lok Lok.. remember to visit and support okay?

The GingerBread House is there too :) I wanna go back there for egg tarts.. Anyone tried before? Is it nice? I see their banner has got so many different flavours of egg tarts.. including yam’s .. hehehe..

Uncle Bob was quite popular in Kuching last time. I haven’t seen or heard bout Uncle Bob for quite sometimes.. Kinda surprised to see there’s a stall there.

Chao Tom – Grilled Shrimp Paste with Sugar Cane Stick @ RM2.00 per stick :)

this is how it looks like after my first bite !!

This year.. Ipoh Town is in Kuching Fest too :D

I was wondering.. how do they served the signature ipoh town white coffee :D .. But in fact, they’re selling this Curry Chicken Bread @ RM7.50 per set

It’s actually a pack of curry chicken inside a loaf of bread. It didn’t taste good to me though cos the curry was not hot enough :x

Taiwan Sausage @ Buy 5 Free 1 @ RM10.00

These sausages taste so much nicer than Gourmet Sausage.. and they are RM1 cheaper too :)

I found Albert’s Beef Noodles stall too.

We didn’t pong chan him cos some of them cannot eat beef.. So, JF treat him a sausage instead :D

What do you called this ah?? The one I had is normally the very much smaller size de.. But this is huge.. selling at RM1 per ball :D

This stall is just behind the mini fun fair !!

Yes.. this year.. they’ve mini fun fair. I still remember the last fun fair.. they have this electric pom pom car !!

I didn’t go near to see what they have for this year’s fun fair.. Who wants to date me to go Kuching Fest again? :D

Foody Goody Cafe sounds very familiar !! Is it the Klong Klong Mee that Anna always mentioned? *hmph*

After a long walk.. We finally found a very untidy table.. and without chairs T__T

JF being very gentleman, cleaned the table.. and grabbed chairs for us ;)

and we put our food on the table.. :D

but look at where we put the rubbish at? :D cannot blame us what.. we couldn’t find the cleaner nearby us after waiting for so long.. :x

People mountain people sea :x

Emperor Dragon Whisker Sweet @ RM3 per box !!

My first bite !! Hahahaha.. it looks hairy :D

2nd bite.. It’s nice.. just that.. a bit too sweet for my liking :x

Me with my 3rd bite :D

I couldn’t find any hot drinks that day.. so, as usual.. the cheapest drink at the food fair will be Anglia Shandy @ RM1.50

I want to eat this again.. neeehh.. the one that I said I don’t know what is it called and it’s bigger size than normal size earlier on :D

Can even eat it like this :D

Everyone loves this stall :)

but not all of us will go buy.. unless, the newly together couple :D or maybe kids crying for balloons.. then parents have got no choice but to go buy .. Hahaha !!

Dewan Masyarakat .. normally this hall will be full of bridal studios, or.. companies selling their products.. I haven’t been to this hall this year.. so, I’m not sure what’s in there this time :x

Another balloons stall .. :)

Outside Kuching food and fun fair 2010 !!

Anna cannot do food review for those who are interested to know more about the taste of the food.. I’m sure she’s missing this food fair a lot too..
