I was so random the other day I asked in facebook if there’s any running event in Kuching.. Was glad that Jimmy told me about this Love Care Charity Run 2010 organised by Kuching Press Club. To me, it’s more like a Jogathon. You need to actually collect certain amount of money, in order to join this run. Reminds me of my primary school jogathon

Whatever it is.. I felt like running.. So, I registered myself.. and helped Jimmy and Finz to register as well I was so glad Jimmy joined this run in the end when initially he told me he might not want to join anymore. Hehehe.. thank you Jimmy.. else I’ll really be lonely there lor ..

Thanks to someone I managed to wake up for this run *LOL* I didn’t sleep well yesterday.. Had like 2 or 3 hours of sleep before this run.. I set alarm.. but somehow, I don’t know how. The alarm was off by me

I was at Crown Tower at 6.45am..

Collected my race kit running tee shirt. As you can see at the donation card, the smallest size for the tee is M .. and I knew it’s going to be very big !!

I didn’t run for many days.. So, I tried to imagine myself in this St John’s Ambulance

When I see everyone was in that orange tee.. I went to ask the organiser if I can wear my own attire.. they said must wear that wor.. Yeeer.. why like that de..

Left with no choice, I went back to my car and get the huge tee and wear it lor

So paiseh lor.. I wore the tee terbalik that time till.. the girl behind me cannot stand me.. and she went to tap my shoulder and say.. “Miss, your tee terbalik jor”

I forgot to tell her.. I purposely wear like that de (si ai bin) *LOL* Really thanks to her lor.. Else, I’ll be wearing tee terbalik the whole 4km .. *LOL*

The event started with warming up in front of Crown Tower, Pending.. 15mins warming up wor.. I should be doing the same for my September run

Oh.. The guys started of the run first before us.. Cos they were running 6km and ours only 4km.. I targeted to follow the lady who looks like she’s going to win the 1st prize.. But guess what.. When we just started off.. The lady sped off like she’s running 100m .. She was so fast.. When I reached the T-junction at Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim.. She was already no where to be seen T____T

She is like 40+ but she can really run.. Shame on me..

Not long ago, Stevo sent me an article about stamina and diet I think. One of the things that I noticed was.. One must have enough rest. I never knew, having enough sleep can actually helps in our stamina !! I didn’t have enough sleep.. and lack of training.. So, I ended up running till almost out of breath !! I was overtook by few ladies and I must salute them.. They can really run.. Huhuhuhu..

At the final 100m.. A lady overtook me.. and I overtook her back.. The same repeats few times till the finishing line.. I was a second ahead of her *LOL* It was funny. During the overtaking, somehow, JiunJie and Kelson came to my mind.. I suddenly thought of what Kelson told me bout him swearing at JiunJie and vice versa during their Siemens Run near the finishing line..

The event ended with a speech saying that the prize presentation will be at Lok Thian Restaurant at night !! Dang.. I was so bored I facebook shoutout. *LOL*

They had buffet dinner there.. but looks like.. the dishes were not enough cos I heard my tablemates complaint that they were still hungry I didn’t eat anything.. Was just sitting there playing with phones while waiting for my turn to get my prize !! *LOL*

Since I know no one there, once my prize was presented to me.. I left the restaurant *LOL*

and tadaaahh. My prize for the 9th place !! It’s just a consolation prize.. At least I won something ma.. A trophy for remembrance.. and a cash of RM50.. Hehehehehe..
