Minoru Japanese Restaurant

I’ve been eating so much lately and not doing any workout at all so I can now be officially called FAT WORM !!

I don’t remember how did the owing a Japanese meal happen, but yes, I’ve got a free meal from some bet or something. Whatever it is, all I know is I got a free meal by someone sinfully called Sin :D

The Fat Worm in front of Minoru Japanese Restaurant O.o

We were seated at the corner cos the funny waitress said people like to hide at this table. wtf. Why they like to hide customers one ah? :D

I’m ready to eat ^.^

While the person who is paying the bill looked like this. HAHAHA. :D

#1: Salmon Sashimi @ RM25.00

One slice @ RM6.25 o.O

#2: Agedashi Dofu @ RM8.00

#3: Today’s SP Set @ RM55.00

#3a – Chicken Roll cooked with special Japanese sauce.

#3b – Prawns fried with special secret recipe which made them very delicious and made you want them more ♥

#3c – Japanese Seaweed that you just can’t get enough of it

#3d – Miso Soup

#3e – Fragrant Rice instead of Japanese Rice :(

#3f – Yours truly with the set lunch that costs RM55.00 O.O

#4: Lamb Chop @ RM40.00 O.O

The fries is nice.. but the steak is too salty for my liking.

The waitress here is very friendly. She even asked us how is the food after we were done with the food.. and yes, we told her what we thought of the food, including the salty part and she said she will tell the kitchen about it. Very good service :)

and in every meal, dessert is a MUST, especially for the ladies.. and the waitress recommended two types of desserts of the day and I chose Dofu Pudding @ RM7.00 .. very nice.. if only the portion is a bit bigger for this kind of price. Haha.

All the prices above excluding 10% Service Charge and one good thing bout eating at Minoru is that they don’t have 6% Government Tax, else this is definitely not my preferred Japanese Restaurant in future :)

I have not been to Minoru yet. I hear it’s the best Japanese restaurant in Kuching – with commensurate prices. I just had some great Japanese food in KL so not very keen to get some just yet.

How nice that you get your lunch for free!

My wife is a Japanese food fan. We both loved sashimi especially salmon. The one you have seems fresh and appetizing. The japanese seaweed is one of my wifey’s favorite too.

I think the waitress meant that the table was more secluded and gives better privacy? Hehehe
