My Running Preparations
For SCKLM’10 (Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon 2010), which I crazily registered myself for it when I just came back from my May KL Trip, what I did was, going for threadmill in the gym.
It was seriously not easy to run 10km. My first few attempts of training really failed gao gao. For 3km.. One of the many trainings, I only managed to run 3km for 31mins !!!

Slowly.. For 40mins, I managed to run 5km.. and I tell you what.. 5km only I was already very exhausted T__T !!

40mins for 5.77km.. T___T I ever thought of giving up and not going for the run during all the trainings ![]()

and people have been telling me that I should go run outside the gym for training.. Even YienLing told me, the feelings are not the same when she jogged outside. O.o
and when I slowly got my average timing of 6km for 40mins.. I started to go to the park to train.. that one pun only on Sundays for only twice or thrice only *LOL*.. and once with NaLing *LOL*

and indeed.. they are so right.. Guess what.. I only can run for 2km only and I was already exhausted till cannot move edi
But still.. we made it to the run..

and yesssss.. we’ve burnt so much calories.. But guess what !! We gained back in an hour’s time by eating this !!

Anyways.. Guess when’s my next run? Hehehehehe…
One of the runs that I’ve registered is the Newton 25km which will be in 2 months time..

Now I a bit regret edi. O.o
but still.. gotta run for it since I’m planning to go for full marathon next year (provided I can complete this in satisfactory time)
Therefore, training started many days ago !!

AhSo and Baby also accompany me for training. (whispers: But hor.. only 2 times nia lor.. then ahSo became lazy and dun wanna go anymore.. hahahaha)

I didn’t really jot down my earlier trainings till.. two days ago.. I posted up in facebook on my training for this Newton 25km run.

I think it’s better to record them down so that I will know how far I can run and can start planning to run at different routes next time ![]()

So, on 17/7/10 (Saturday), I ran 6km for 60minutes.. The funny thing was that.. I followed a guy when I started running till I’ve decided to stop running after the 6th round.. but he still didn’t notice I was behind him from the start of my jog.. funny ![]()

Then on 18/7/10 (Sunday), I managed to run 9km in 63minutes.. Hehehe. Wanted to go for the 10th round.. But I can feel the pain on both legs already .. plus the sky was already dark.. so.. that was the end of my running session ![]()

and and.. Yesterday I went for another jog again.. but this time.. I only ran 4km.. in 25mins 25seconds and that’s for Love Care Charity Run 2010 which will be held in Kuching.. hehehehe.. finally there’s a running event in Kuching ![]()

Jimmy and friend will be joining for this run too.. Hehehehe..
Today.. Training tergendala because it was a rainy Tuesday evening.. and I totally forgotten today is Tuesday.. FML..
Anyways.. can anyone tell me how can I complete 4km in 20mins? O.o

I cross train with thread mill too, running on thread mill is boring but it trains the mind. You’ll realize running outside is a lot easier after a few session of tread mill. There are a few sub 3 hr marathoner training exclusively on thread mill.
