Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2010
The craziest thing I’ve done so far is to register myself for a MARATHON on 27 June 2010 !!
Well.. It’s not the 42km, like Kenny is doing, but still a marathon is like in KM (kilometers) ok !! 3.3km for 35mins on a threadmill is most I’ve done so far. That 3.3km edi make me suffered for few days already.. How to run for 10km that I’ve registered last night wor? O.o

Yes.. You have not heard me wrong.. I crazily registered myself for a 10km marathon last night.. Simply because Yien said she wants to do it.. and I’ve never done before.. and I want a medal from a marathon. Quote from Kenny’s blog: If I could do it, there’s no reason why you couldn’t do too.
? Some more he only trained himself for 2 weeks before the actual 42km marathon.
Even Grandpa like him also can do it for 42km.. Why can’t I?

Mine’s only 10km.. I’ve 40days left to train myself.. I should be able to do it right?

Good job. Running form is important, with good running form, you can wink the 10km easily and regret you did not sign up for the full 42….
First off, relax when you run so your heart is not pumping against tensed muscle and tight blood vessel. Lean forward, use the gravity to pull you forward instead to pushing forward with your leg. Minimal lifting of your legs. Run in the center of the road during race days ( center or orad is alway flat, less injury to your ankle.)
Really . it’s all in your head, if you believe you can finish it, you will. Good luck..if you completed a full 42km, I’ll Paypal you USD 50.
