One fine Sunday, I was working in office… The someone.. The Blur, The Random and The Hyper got together for an ice cream session at Kuching Famous Ice Cream Place, called the Sunny Hill

That afternoon, Gladys was so random. Therefore, she’s called The Random !!

I was The Hyper because I went all the way from Demak Laut to pick the two princesses out

and Yien, as usual, is The Blur !! Hahaha.. But she was extra blur that afternoon.. I don’t know why

Suddenly.. Someone (you know who) was craving for Durian Cheese Cake !! So, The Hyper decided to give them a ride to The Spring to hunt down the yummilicious Durian Cheese Cake from Secret Recipe !!

However, it was hard to find parking there.. So, The Hyper drove all the way to Secret Recipe at Ban Hock Road just for the Durian Cheese Cake lovers

Since there were 3 of us.. We ordered another piece of cake.. Mango Delight

Called our Premium Tim and Ting to join us but then they were having lunch at their favourite Japanese Restaurant, Sanga !!

But the Premiums managed to join us too after their lunch.. hehehehe

I remembered Mama asked me to buy eggs when I leave office.. But I totally forgotten jor.. Till Mama sms something funny.. “No egg no dinner.. Only white rice for dinner” .. Not the exactly what she sms me,but I recalled something like that

So, I gotta brought two Lingss to go Everrise to buy eggs and sent the eggs back home for Mama to cook dinner

We recalled that Our Surreptest Utmost Premium birthday was on that day. It was also Frankie and Anthony Ko’s birthdays that day So, the crazy trio decided to drop by a bakery shop to grab a cake for our Surreptest. We got the cake from Fujisan Bakery, but then our Surreptest wasn’t at home T____T

Holding the birthday cake, driving the car around, not knowing where to go while waiting for our Surreptest to reply our message. When he finally did, he said he was at one of the 13th mile restaurant.. We almost fainted.. Then how long would it take him to actually reached home? O.o

Sigh..

So, instead of waiting for him to come back home, which he didn’t know what time would he arrived home.. The Hyper decided to drive up to 13th mile, together with The Blur and The Random !! It was my 2nd time driving to somewhere I don’t really know.. The first time was driving up to Serian..

Anyways.. The Blur wasn’t that blur afterall. She knew where the restaurant the Surreptest mentioned. So.. I got live GPS.. So, I didn’t really afraid I’ll lost. Even if I were lost, I’ll lost together with the two of them.. *LOL*

and we finally reached there and met Surreptest, the birthdayguy !!

Gladys has been craving for Nasi Lemak at 3rd Mile Siang Siang.. So, we headed there for it

The weird thing that I somehow discovered is that.. They have all types of drinks with so many colors.. in mineral water’s bottles.. From Soya Bean to Air Bandung to Sugar Cane and many other I-have-no-idea-what drinks are that O.o

I always love to visit Malay stall… and Kacang Putih is one of my favourites food.. hehehehe..

So, we headed to the well-known Ruby Restaurant.. Funny thing is that.. No one knows where the restaurant is located. Went to ask the hotel staffs but they gave us the wrong direction.. Luckily the restaurant’s name can be seen from outside the hotel.. Else, we’ll be walking around the wrong direction as per given by the hotel staff

We finally arrived at the famous Ruby Restaurant in Sibu. I haven’t heard of this place till the Lingss said that it’s famous for its few dishes.. So, there we were to try the food there

and another specialty drink would be Arthur Wee’s Coffee !!

Pandan Chicken – a common dish to me though.. Probably I’m not a big fan of meat.. So, this taste like any other chicken to me

Butter Cheese Baby Kailan – I’m loving this vege. The best baby kailan I’ve ever tried

Sea Cucumber Soup – again.. this is kinda common to me..

I love tanghoon as much as I love beehoon.. This plate of tanghoon is one of my favorites that evening after butter cheese baby kailan.. Hehehehe

Mayonnaise Lamb – recommended by the Boss.. Indeed.. It’s heavenly nice..

Four Seasons Beans – but why is there porky in the veges? This is another nice to eat plate of dish but then a bit too oily for my liking..

Butter Scotch Prawns – Love the cheesy and milky prawns.. It’s so nice I can eat the whole plate by myself.. But then again.. It would be nicer if those black black thingy on the prawns are not seen *LOL*

My Sibu Trip Lingsssss

Us with the Boss who got a little bit annoyed by us cos we were noisy and the last customers to leave the place.. and we managed to get a little discount from him.. *LOL* Thank you Boss.. We’ll definitely be going back there for our next trip !!

Our total damage for that evening for 6 persons was RM91.80 !! Wootz !!

*LOL* I’m proud of the latest ranking.. So, I’m posting this in this blog entry Unrelated with this post, but doesn’t matter lar hor

Previously I posted that I Iz Ranked 235 Out Of 3,212 .. But discovered that I Iz Ranked 164 out of the same number of runners I guess. Hmph.. But then could it be those above 40 years old be catagorized as Veteran, and that’s why my ranking increased? Hmph.. I’ve no idea.. but.. whatever it is.. I’m happy with the new ranking.. Now, when’s the next run?

Hehehehe.. I thought to make this Sibu Trip in April 2010 into two posts but there are too many pictures to be shared.. So, I guess there will be another one or two posts coming up

I was doing last minute packing and I left out many things.. Including my formal attire – the long pants O.o

Didn’t manage to bring my camera as I need to bring a laptop with me to work. So, you won’t be seeing many pics in this post.

I left Genting on 14th May (Friday).. the funny thing is that I thought we were leaving at 2sth and I still have time to go gamble at Uncle Lim’s place. Thought to throw RM50 for BANKER or PLAYER. But.. Argh.. We were asked to wait for van at 12sth after our lunch *hmph* and I was in starbucks that time sending an important draft over to the manager. Didn’t realised it was 12noon and according to a colleague, the room will be auto locked once it reached 12noon. O.o

So, I’ve to queue up to get another temporary room key. Thanks to the cute guy at Counter 15 for the key

and we waited for the van for so long I think I could’ve won myself some pocket allowance from Uncle Lim. *hmph*

Since I touched down quite early on that day.. I left my luggage with my colleagues and went to shop alone in Midvalley.. Hehehe.. My first time shopping alone in KL.. It’s not that bad though.. I can go to any shop myself for as long as I wanted to and there is this shop called Why Pay More? that Yien recommended and the things there are quite affordable compared to all the branded shop. Got myself a few things.. but at the same time, help people to buy things as well.

Walked around with phone low batt and body low batt at the same time is not fun at all *LOL* After spending like there’s no tomorrow, I went back to the lobby and sat there while waiting for Yien to touch down KL
