Ok. Next.. Let’s talk about the food & drinks in Happy Valley..

I tried to order several drinks, which include Honey Lemon, Plum Juice, Lemon Juice, Ular Peng, but all out of stock O_o I then settled down with Sundrop Orange which I expect it’s in can but then I was served with this glass. *disappointed*

Not knowing what to order at the moment I hold the menu, so I simply ordered Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread.. Needless to say more, look at that hangus garlic bread @.@ *disappointed*

Many of them who came much earlier than I did, waited for their food for more than half an hour.. Ok.. Mind you.. There were no other customers, other than us.. and a few of them ordered the same food.. Mixed Vegetables Rice.. O_o *disappointed*

A very different type of bittergourd that we used to order.. It’s a bit overcooked and we were expecting some black beans instead of just soy sauce *disappointed*

Fried rice of the month .. and it could be fried rice of the year too

One mouth can finished edi .. Oklar.. one mouth a bit too kua zhang lar… two mouths lor… the portion is hilariously small lor.. Even a small eater like me also don’t think it’s enough for me lor

When I asked the waitress why is the portion so small.. Her reply was: Sudah naik harga .. and we all went O_o *disappointed*

Ok.. Next.. The Mee Sua… *disappointed* I think many will still prefer my Mama’s Mee Sua.. Mama is not a Foochow.. Oklar.. Half Foochow cos she’s married to a Foochow.. but she can cook so much nicer’s mee sua wor.. *proud of Mama*

Happy Valley used to be my favourite place for lunch and dinner appointments.. But since last year, I noticed that their food dropped from good to bad and now to worse The waiting time is a bit too long for office working people like us..

60 minutes lunch break:
10 mins to reach Happy Valley
05 mins waiting for the menu to be given
05 mins looking and order for food
40 mins for the food and drinks to be served
10 mins eating
05 mins settling bill
10 mins going back to office

Now.. How can we have lunch there when we got such service wor?

Happy Valley was their choice and off we went there to meet my ex-colleague, AhWang’s gf who is a Japanese

As usual, I ordered Honey Lemon @ RM2.80 .. It used to be much much cheaper

Black Pepper Lamb Chop @ RM18.90 .. The lamb was good and tender but not the black pepper sauce which tasted a bit sourish. The chop was presented with a little veges, carrot and a piece of pineapple

Oh and on that same day, since I was OG-ing, I dropped by Chicken Rice and More to tapao a pack of Steamed Chicken Rice @ RM3.50 as my lunch

Will edit this post again with the prices cos I left the receipt at home !! I think that piece of white paper taken out from my jeans pocket fresh from the washing machine is the receipt. So, not much details on the food but the total damage was RM90++
