The Evening of Our April 2010 Sibu Trip

I thought this is the last part of our Sibu trip.. But seems like memory card full jor and I borrowed a CF card from JF.. and the pictures are not in my photo album. *hmph*

Anyways.. After we left waterfront and the girls played around with the shades, we headed to..

Pasar Malam at Sibu !!

The weird thing that I somehow discovered is that.. They have all types of drinks with so many colors.. in mineral water’s bottles.. From Soya Bean to Air Bandung to Sugar Cane and many other I-have-no-idea-what drinks are that O.o

I always love to visit Malay stall… and Kacang Putih is one of my favourites food.. hehehehe..

Non-halal stall.. Bak zhang, Char Siew Bao and Siu Mai / Sio Bee

I think I bought some Kacang Putih that evening.. Did I? *LOL*

They almost bought this puppy back !!

Since it’s a Pasar Malam, we can find almost everything there…

From sandals and shoes stall..

to bagsssss stall..

to .. erm.. what stall is it called?

Even got ADIDAS caps :)

and and.. I don’t know why.. But Sibu seems like to have many sheeps everywhere.. Does sanyan stands for San Yan? Mountain Sheep? don’t laugh.. I’m asking cos I don’t know ma :x

When the guys got together ah…

They’ll start to do funny things together O.o

If you got what I mean =..=

<3 this pic :)

Even sell gold bracelets and necklaces? O.o

Happy “kid” with kids :D

Our favorite porky porky !! We bought few plates back for our supper !!

together with some english tea.. :D

We came back to hotel room first because the guys decided to buy some metal thingy to bring back to Kuching.. there are stories on that.. but that I’ll leave for my final post next :D

Things we did, when we have cameras with us :)

A proper one for ARGH :)

Our cozy room ;)

Complimentary from the hotel :)

Super big toilet cum bathroom :)

Additional CF Card that I borrowed from JF :)

The guys were back after they got their “tools” !!

So, we headed to the well-known Ruby Restaurant.. Funny thing is that.. No one knows where the restaurant is located. Went to ask the hotel staffs but they gave us the wrong direction.. Luckily the restaurant’s name can be seen from outside the hotel.. Else, we’ll be walking around the wrong direction as per given by the hotel staff :x

..

We finally arrived at the famous Ruby Restaurant in Sibu. I haven’t heard of this place till the Lingss said that it’s famous for its few dishes.. So, there we were to try the food there :)

With our drinks – Peanuts Barley, one of the specialty drink in Ruby Restaurant !!

and another specialty drink would be Arthur Wee’s Coffee !!

Our first dish was then served.. :)

Pandan Chicken – a common dish to me though.. Probably I’m not a big fan of meat.. So, this taste like any other chicken to me :x

Butter Cheese Baby Kailan – I’m loving this vege. The best baby kailan I’ve ever tried :)

Sea Cucumber Soup – again.. this is kinda common to me..

I love tanghoon as much as I love beehoon.. This plate of tanghoon is one of my favorites that evening after butter cheese baby kailan.. Hehehehe ;)

Mayonnaise Lamb – recommended by the Boss.. Indeed.. It’s heavenly nice..

Four Seasons Beans – but why is there porky in the veges? :D This is another nice to eat plate of dish but then a bit too oily for my liking..

Butter Scotch Prawns – Love the cheesy and milky prawns.. It’s so nice I can eat the whole plate by myself.. But then again.. It would be nicer if those black black thingy on the prawns are not seen *LOL*

My Sibu Trip Lingsssss :)

Us with the Boss who got a little bit annoyed by us cos we were noisy and the last customers to leave the place.. and we managed to get a little discount from him.. *LOL* Thank you Boss.. We’ll definitely be going back there for our next trip !! :)

Our total damage for that evening for 6 persons was RM91.80 !! Wootz !!

Ok ok.. Next shall be the final post for Our April 2010 Sibu Trip :)

Hmmm… the boss seems to like a lot of oil, butter and mayonnaise. Would like to try the Peanut Barley though, interesting.

24K gold gracelets are nice, those gold plated bracelets are nice too but they don’t last as long as pure 24K gold bracelets;*;
