The Wedding Proposal

Wow.. There are many people getting married since October.. I guess the best month to get married would be in October, November, December, January and February.. Involved in few weddings recently – Friends, relatives and even cousins !! And I’m going to another wedding dinner this evening.. :D

and of course when people got married and when friends or relatives see you (refer to those who are still single).. The most frequently asked question would be..

When’s your turn?
When are you getting married?

Ok.. I know I am not young edi.. and I did have plan earlier on that I wanted to get married at the age of 19 and have baby at the age of 20 so that when I am 40 years old.. My eldest son/daughter will be 20 years old and I’ll be very proud to be a YOUNG mummy.

But as time flies.. Somehow.. I don’t have this idea of getting married.

Ok.. first thing first.. Why do I write about this? I intend to tell those who asked me the above two questions, to read my blog, with the title The Wedding Proposal instead of me explaining to them one by one, one after another. Hahahaha !!

Ok.. let’s talk about Wedding Proposal first.. I don’t know about the rest.. But I wish to have some nice, unique, romantic and unforgetable wedding proposal from my future husband !!

I envy these ladies.. cos their husbands are just so so so nice and romantic to do the proposals those ways..

Celebrity blogger, Xiaxue was proposed by bf Mike in a cinema during one of the Nuffnang Singapore screening !! He even did a proposal commercial specially for her !! Wahraoo.. why so romantic one??

and and I even heard of proposal on the plane.. by one of the bosses in Sharing Planet !! These people are super sweet…

and CLARIFICATIONS hor.. I am writting this not because I demand a romantic and nice wedding proposal from future husband (cos I know I won’t be getting one and even if I got one and it’s the same as those I mentioned, it’s not unique and romantic anymore)..

I am still not that pressured yet because my sis is still not married yet.. and my elder bro is still single and available (I think) .. and I still want to become my sister’s bridesmaid ler… So yahhh.. unless my sis got married first then I might consider to get married .. Hehehe..

and I think getting married is not about two loving people. It’s about two families. It is about getting blessings from not only your family members, your relatives and even your friends. It is about getting blessings from your God as well.

Yes.. Religion is a very important issue. It is good that a couple has the same religion. So this issue might not be an issue to them. But.. When a couple has different religions, one has to give up their religion and follow the other. If they manage to do that. Then this might not be an issue too. But if both decided not to give up on theirs, what should they do?

I know this entry is a bit wordy :x I think I should stop here and continue next time when I managed to find more pics for topic like this :D

Tomorrow is 24th Decemeber edi.. This year seems a bit quiet for me.. No plan.. No gift exchange thingy.. But still I would like to wish you all a blessed Christmas :)

As what we can read from books, it always define that marriage is a contract between two parties to establish the right to own property together. But then, if we attempt to figure out more on marriage, we will find it very challenging to explain what exactly the marriage is.

It is good that u think a lot on marriage.
Do not get married because of marriage.
Same apply to do not simply fall in love just because of wanting to love.

I’ve so much to talk on this topic ahhh… But I just couldn’t find the write time to write them out.. and yes.. both need to agree to follow one then marriage should be considered.. Else.. even if accept the proposal it also means nothing (at least to me.. cos I know many out there will say I still can go on with my own religion and he with his own.. but that’s not what I think about marriage)

I love Kim & josiah’s chapter of the proposal. So romantic and so sweet ahh~~

Getting in a relationship is one thing. Getting married is another.

In a relationship, it is about two people being together, loving and caring and sharing happiness together.

Marriage on the other hand, is when two people are never sick of each other and planning to move on to the next stage. To settle down and ready to start a family.
